Dam Square in Amsterdam
Dam Square ('Damplein' in Dutch) is the most famous square in Amsterdam. It is located in downtown Amsterdam less than 1km from Central Station. Several popular attractions are at Dam Square: the Royal Palace, Madame Tussauds Museum, the National Monument and the largest department store of Amsterdam, the 'Bijenkorf'. To the Anne Frank House is a 10 minutes walk. And with the tram it takes 10 minutes to the Rijksmuseum / Van Gogh Museum (2.5km).
